02About us
Absurd Dreams is an emerging independent creative production initiative based in Sri Lanka, created to bring distinctive artistic knowledge and experiences to local audiences. Working across theatre, performance and other creative projects, it aims to create opportunities for artists, audiences and ideas to meet in unexpected ways.
The producer
Behind Absurd Dreams is Dinuli Mendis, a Sri Lankan actor, vocalist, theatre practitioner and dance enthusiast, with a background in social media marketing, communications and project management.
Driven by a long-standing ambition to work across different forms of performance and creative production, Absurd Dreams is her step towards building projects that bring people together through art in Sri Lanka.
